I was 6 or 7 when I saw "The Avengers." I idid not understand girls but I knew the Emma Peel was the kind of girl I liked. Smart, sexy and strong. When she passed away, a friend from high school said the same thing. So to a category of boys she was the model by which we picked our spouses. Yes, all this from a 6 or 7 year old. She is burned in my memory.
